Fixing Sync Issue of iOS 4 with Microsoft Exchange Server!



Apple has launched iOS 4 in 2010 and its sophisticated and powerful features lures users to upgrade their iPhone to this OS version. But after up-gradation to this version people have experienced delays in syncing Microsoft Exchange Server with it. People have noticed that applications like Mail, Contacts, Calendar, Exchnage ActiveSync and others are taking very huge amount of time while connecting to the Exchange Server while syncing data. Though Apple has released a configuration profile update to resolve this issue but if the fault relies in the Exchange Server then the problem need to be fixed from there.

To resolve the sync issue of iOS4 with the Exchange Server Apple has released a configuration profile which contains the larger duration for the Microsoft Exchnage Server respond to sync request which reduces the syncing related iPhone issues.   • Step 1 - First download the configuration profile from Apple's official website to your iDevice.
  • Step 2 - Now you be taken to the 'Install Profile' page from where, you have to click 'Install' to initiate the download by entering the 'passcode' if it is prompted.
  • Step 3 – Then Apple will display the warning message to notify that the profile is not signed. You need to then tap 'Install Now' to complete the download.
  • Step 4 – Once the download completes, click 'Done' to complete the download process.
  • Step 5 – Then you need to switch off the iDevice and reboot it. The installed configuration profile may be viewed on the Settings > General > Profile.
After performing these steps, try to initiate the syncing process of iDevice with Microsoft Exchange Server, it will be done and your sync problem will be resolved.
