MS Exchange Server is a central location where people store their crucial data which includes mails, notes, contacts etc. so that they can be accessed easily from any place. People also synchronize their MS Outlook data with Exchange Server so that they can also be accessed from anywhere anytime. But while synchronizing the off-line address list of Microsoft Exchange Server 2003, 2007 or 2010 with Microsoft Outlook 2003 it throws error messages with the Sync Issue folder. The error that is thrown is very much like -
"0x8004010F An object could not be found"
Not only that, in fact if attempt is made to send an e-mail message after the above mentioned error is encountered in MS Outlook 2003, then you may get this below mentioned error -
"Task 'Microsoft Exchange Server' reported error (0x8004010F): 'The operation failed. An object could not be found.'"
Cause
This problem has occurred because of any of these reasons -
- When the properties of Address List setting in Exchange System Manager is true for -
- The offline address book list object has missing or incorrect address list.
- Properties of the Offline Address List setting in Exchange System Manager is true for -
- The offline address book list object has missing or incorrect address list.
Resolution
In order to resolve this issue, in the Properties of the Offline Address List settings in the Exchange System Manager -
- Click 'Properties' for the mailbox store and then verify the offline address list which is populated with a valid offline address list object on the general tab and then try to send message from the Outlook.
- In the Database Management windows right-click on the 'Properties' > 'Client Settings' and configure the server.
- Then click 'OK' two times, this will surely resolve the problem.
But in case these steps fail to resolve the issue, then use third party Exchange Server Recovery software to recover all the crucial stuffs and fix the exchange server synchronize issue.
